American Standard 5V Series Cast Iron Five-Groove QD Sheaves For 5V Belts

5V series five groove QD (quick release) bushing pulley applies to 5V, 5VX, 5V belts, and 5VX belts. They range in diameter from 4.40 "to 50.00". Depending on pulley size, they use SD, SK, SF, E, F, or J QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Most of our five groove 5V QD pulleys are high-strength 35-grade cast iron, coated with phosphate and anti-corrosion paint. All these are balanced at the factory to ensure the machine's smooth operation.

American standard pulleys have quick-release, easy-to-install pulley tapered locking sleeves (QD tapered sleeves) for easy installation and removal. The shaft sleeve allows the installation of the same mating parts on shafts with different diameters and uses the same shaft sleeve to install different pulleys on the same column. They are separated and tapered by flanges to provide an effective sleeve shrink-fit self-locking principle. All dimensions have screws installed on the key to help keep the bushing on the shaft until the screws are tightened.
Advantages and disadvantages of pulley drive
