Product Description

Characteristic
The Shaft For Sugar Harvest Combing is a pivotal piece of machinery that helps farmers cut down the acreage of a field. Its lateral movement makes it easy to move it along the field, and its tilt feature allows the operator to adjust the machine to cut whichever type of plant material is present. For more information, see the following paragraphs. Aside from the Tilt Shaft, the combine is equipped with the Basecutter, Straw spreader, and Feeder Jackshaft.
Tilt Shaft
The tilt shaft on a sugar harvest combine controls the positioning of the blade. The blade is attached to the cutterhead by an interconnection piece that can be either horizontal or vertical. This shaft moves back and forth with the blade to provide a continuous, even cut. The blade can be adjusted to the proper angle using a swivel, a locking mechanism, or a lever.
The sugarcane harvesting device has two separate feeding sets. One is a duct with the outlet nozzle 90 degrees above the lower part of the cutterhead. The other feed cane into the upper part of the combine and guides it to the second elevator with the help of a chain following the soil profile. Both the upper and lower cane feed into this elevator. The cane is then displaced next to the cutterhead, resulting in a clean cut.
Feeder jackshaft speed range
The speed of the feeder jackshaft is an important factor in the performance of your sugar harvest combine. For better
performance, choose the appropriate speed range. The operating speed range for your header drive is 460-698 RPM. You can also operate the feeder automatically and set it to its minimum or maximum speed. To use the automatic feeding feature, you must set the feeder auto mode rocker switch to "AUTO."
For optimum performance, choose a variable-speed feeder jackshaft. For example, 2600 is designed for use in regular low-speed operation. The same goes for a 2600 with a two-speed feeder drive. The two-speed feeder drive runs your corn head at a steady speed. A low-speed option is available for this model.
Basecutter
The Basecutter shaft for the sugar harvest combine is a critical component of a combine's drive train. This shaft runs
vertically above the base cutter disc and narrows the gap between adjacent drive shafts. A gearbox assembly separates the base cutter shaft from the main drive shaft 88. These drive shafts are spaced on opposite sides of the cutter head assembly, where they form the throat opening.
Modern base cutters hold up to five blades per disc. For high-ground speeds, six-blade slots are available. Different manufacturers make discs with different disc diameters to aid in soil rejection. Some base cutter shafts are scalloped to help in soil rejection, while dished discs increase the nominal angle of the blades. In addition, the base cutter rotation speed is variable to match the forward speed of the harvester. A base cutter rotation speed of about 580 rpm is ideal.
