5V series six groove QD (quick disassembly) bushing pulley applies to 5V, 5VX, 5V belts, and 5VX belts. They range in diameter from 4.40 "to 50.00". Depending on pulley size, they use SD, SK, SF, E, F, or J QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Our six groove 5V QD pulley is mainly made of high-strength 35-grade cast iron, coated with phosphate and anti-corrosion paint. Features of tapered bushing pulley
The tapered bushing pulley is a mechanical connection. The tapered sleeve is inserted between the mounting shaft and the pulley. The belt pulley is self-locking on the pointed sleeve through the socket head cap screw, and the tapered sleeve tightly fixes the mounting shaft. The tapered sleeve is mainly divided into TB taper sleeve and QD taper sleeve. The fitting hole of the tapered sleeve and the pulley is half-sided. Two small holes on the tapered sleeve and two threaded holes on the pulley form a complete hole. The threaded hole in the tapered sleeve and the smooth hole in the pulley form a complete fixture. During assembly, place two screws in the two threaded holes of the pulley. As the screw continues to tighten in the threaded hole of the pulley, the thread action pushes the screw to the small end of the tapered hole. The conical sleeve is the two incompletely machined holes of the screw, so when the screw head contacts the bottom of the suction pipe hole, the force will be transferred to the conical sleeve. The tapered sleeve moves to the small end of the tapered hole relative to the pulley. Because of the taper, the tapered sleeve will continue to wind the shaft, and the column will react to the tapered sleeve and then act on the pulley. This way, the pulley, tapered sleeve, and shaft are fitted tightly.
